For anyone who knows me, knows I can get a little too engrossed in celebrity gossip. Hence my addiction to People magazine. So you can imagine my shock today when I read that The Hills reality starlet L.C. and her lame-o boyfriend Jason have split up.

Anybody else out there admit to watching The Hills? Definitely a guilty pleasure.

So here's a girl who's had a privileged life growing up in Laguna Hills, CA. Gets her taste of the celebrity life when she and her high school friends are featured in Laguna Hills, yet another teen reality show.

In The Hills, Lauren moves to LA and miraculously lands an internship with Teen Vogue while she's going to fashion school. Me thinks the producer had a role in getting her that fabulous internship to spice up the new reality show.

Then enters ex-boyfriend from Laguna Hills era to become on again boyfriend in The Hills. Love at 20 is so fleeting. Fights, jealousy, pouting, you name it. You gotta tune into the next season.

L.C. was at a crossroads in the season finale. Should she take the incredible opportunity to spend the summer in Paris interning for Vogue or should she shack up with slum, loser boyfriend in a beach dwelling in Malibu playing house?

Of course, wouldn't we all pick the loser boyfriend? So tell me L.C., was turning down the internship in Paris worthwhile? Me thinks not.
