oh beaux

I'm LMAO right now, tears in my eyes. Rick and I were standing in the kitchen trying to decide what to cook for dinner based on the limited options in our refrigerator. I'd pulled open the bottom freezer drawer, and Beaux walked over and licked the metal bracket.

Just as I scolded him, I looked down and saw that his tongue had stuck to the cold metal, and he pulled it off, with a pop, when I yelled at him. Of course I'm immediately reminded of the scene in A Christmas Story when the kids gets his tongue to a pole.

Now I just can't get the image out of my head. And even worse yet, I reopened the freezer and can see where Beaux's tongue left it's mark.
