The situation at the hospital has gotten so unwieldy for Rick that after having the weekend to contemplate his next move, Rick has decided to put in his resignation today.
The good news is that he can pick up per diem and traveling assignments to bring in cash if he doesn't find a full-time job. But at least now he can enjoy his time at his family's home next week knowing he won't have to return to the insanity that consumes the hospital that he works at right now.
Should be a great start to the new year.
