Got a call today from the apartment complex, and it sounds promising that the MIL will have an permanent place of her own starting December 1. Just need to fill out some additional paperwork.

So...decisions, decisions.

1. Wait until we go out during the weekend to have her fill out her paperwork, which means she'll postpone the train ride back to Minnesota yet again
   
2. OR, sacrifice a half day of work tomorrow to take her out there (1 hour 15 minutes there), get the papers filled out (1 hour), drive back home (1 hour and 15 minutes back) and then head into the office in the afternoon. Beauty is that she can still catch her train this Friday.

I'm willing to suck up some minor inconveniences to get her situated and out of our place by this weekend.

The plan is then that she won't come back until she's fully moved into her new digs.
